As one of our dock employees, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading freight using a fork lift, pallet jack or other equipment to handle freight that varies in size and weight. Work days and hours vary.



Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:



  • Load and unload freight utilizing fork lift, pallet jack or material handling equipment

  • Balance and roll drums on barrel truck

  • Use fork lifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks etc.

  • Secure cargo using chains, load bars, wood blocks, straps etc.

  • Complete inspection reports, bills of loading, manifests, and accident reports

  • Verify loads are correct, and note any overages, shortages or damages

  • Comply with all regulations for safety and efficiency

  • Keep dock and equipment clean at all times


Required Education and
Experience:



  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively

  • Accurately perform mathematical calculations

  • Ability to work various days and hours

  • Work in all-weather conditions

  • Pass company-administered drug test

  • Operate essential material handling equipment to perform tasks


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
